【摘要】:ThisclauseoftheGENERALSTANDARDapplieswiththefollowingamendment:1.5ThisspecificationpresentsparticularrequirementsforanANESTHESIAWORKSTATIONwhensuppliedasacompleteunit,aswellasparticularrequirementsforindividualdeviceswhichtogethermakeupacompleteANESTHESIAWORKSTATION.ItistheintentofthisspecificationthatbothcompleteANESTHESIAWORKSTATIONSandtheindividualdevicesbecommerciallyavailabletoallowUSERStoconfigureanANESTHESIAWORKSTATIONtomeettheneedsoftheirclinicalpracticeinconformancewiththeirnationalregulationsorguidelines,orboth.Tothisendthestandardhasbeenstructuredinsuchawayastoclearlyidentifyparticularrequirementspertinenttospecificdevicescurrentlyavailable.Note1Althoughthisspecificationdoesnotmandatetheuseofasinglecommunicationprotocol,thepurposeofdigitaldatacommunicationinthisspecificationistofacilitatetransferofdatabetweendevices.Possibleusesofdatafrommultiplesourcesincludeintegrateddatadisplayandalarmannunciation,andaidingDECISIONSUPPORTSYSTEMS.Centralizeddisplayintegrationandfunctionalintegrationarethehallmarksdifferentiatingthisspecificationfrompreviousanesthesiagasmachinestandards.Digitalcommunicationmakespossibleintegrationamongworkstationdevicesthatmaybemodular,orinteractonlythroughcommunicationinterfaces.Documentationanddisclosurerequirementsvarybecauseofexpectedvariationsinimplementationpermittedbythespecifiedstandards.AdditionaldocumentationrequirementsareimposedwheninterfacemethodsnotincludedinthespecifiedDIGITALINTERFACEstandardsareencountered.Equipmentthatcanbeusedwithflammableanestheticagents,intermittentflowmachines,thatonlydelivergastothepatientatvaryingratesinresponsetothepatient''sinspiratoryefforts,anddentalnitrousoxide-oxygenmachinesarenotcoveredbythisspecification.
