【摘要】:Fullyrefinedpetroleumoilsnormallycontainnonaphthainsolublematerial.Semirefinedorblackoilsfrequentlycontainsomenaphthainsolublematerial(sometimesreferredtoasasphaltenes).Thistestmeasurestheamountofnaphthainsolublematerialintheoil.Thisquantityisreportedastheprecipitationnumber.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheprecipitationnumberofsteamcylinderstocksandblackoils,andcanbeusedforotherlubricatingoils.1.2ThevaluesstatedinacceptableSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
